Frankie Knuckles 1956-2014One of the main engines for house from the start was Frankie Knuckles, widely known as The Godfather of House, who died yesterday at the age of 59. Knuckles (who was actually originally born in The Bronx) moved to Chicago when he was young and set up residence at The Warehouse, the club whose distinct style gave house its name. The 49-year-old designer was found hanged to death by her assistant this morning at around 10am, Eastern time, according to multiple sources.
The designer and model had been dating The Rolling Stones lead singer Mick Jagger for 13 years. 
A spokesperson for Mick, who is currently on tour in Australia, said the singer was 'completely shocked and devastated' when he heard the news.-By yahoo

He had terrible headache on Dec. 3,2013 then sent to Muhimbili  hospital in Dare es salaam.It was late,strock stricken him and paralised one side of his body.Then on the 02 jan 2014 he passed away.He will be receiving his last respect at his parents home in Sinza Mori and later on to rest at Kinondoni Cemetery.Plans to send him abroad for further treatment failed before his death. May his soul rest in peace.AMEN!!

Rap star Nate Dogg has died at the age of 41

According to reports, the hip-hop musician's family confirmed that he passed away last night following several years of ill health. No further details have yet been released.
Born Nathaniel Dwayne Hale in August 1969, the Grammy-nominated singer shot to fame when he collaborated with Warren G on the smash hit 'Regulate' in 1994.
Since then he has worked with musicians including Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Dr Dre and Mark Ronson.
Snoop Dogg was first to pay his respect for the star, tweeting: "I miss u cuzz I am so sad but so happy I got to grow up wit u and I will c u again n heaven cuz u know d slogan... all doggs go to heaven yo homie n baby brotha bigg snoopdogg!!" (sic)
